London met knife banks

We recently delivered 10 steel knife banks to London Metropolitan Police.

So far the force have 20 banks which will be located across London, a key area with knife crime and violence being a huge problem.

Keith Wheeler of London met received the delivery of the 10 Metal banks and will then be distributing them across the different boroughs of London.

As we draw ever closer to reaching our main objectives it’s good to know the campaign has such a strong presence in London.

Wiltshire Police join campaign

The National Monument against Violence and Aggression -… campaign is thriving at the moment and now we have the addition of Wiltshire Police on board.

The force have reached out to lend their support to the campaign by requesting knife amnesty bins to be delivered to a number of police stations in the county.

We are currently in talks with the force on getting the ball rolling and thank them for reaching out to us, watch this space…

Cambridgeshire Constabulary

This Thursday we will be collecting knifes and weapons from Cambridgeshire Constabulary

The force has been working exceptionally hard in order to remove as many knives and weapons off the streets of Cambridgeshire as possible.

With their help, we are that bit closer to removing 100,000 knives off the streets of the UK and spreading much needed awareness on the effects of knife crime and violence.

Taunton Crown Court

Our initiative to collect dangerous knives and weapons across the UK, has most recently been adopted by the Courts and their legal system.

Courts conducting cases about knife crime and violence until now had no place to dispose of the confiscated weapons.

This process will begin with Taunton Crown Court and with the help of the home office, we are looking to assist any court in the country currently struggling with the same problem.

Gloucestershire Constabulary

Yesterday sculptor Alfie Bradley went to collect surrendered weapons from Gloucestershire Constabulary.

The force have had knife surrender bins across the county at selected police stations and yesterday Paul Kelly handed over the weapons to Alfie who brought them back to us here in Shropshire.

With more collections due in the up and coming weeks we are getting ever closer to our target, all the while raising awareness and gaining support against knife crime and violence.

Thames Valley Police

UPDATE!
We have been informed that 21 bins from Thames valley Police will be ready for collection in the next couple of weeks.

This is fantastic news for the campaign, it will take us closer to our target of removing 100,000 knives off the streets of the UK.

Knife banks make there way to London Met Police

10 steel banks make their way to London Met headquarters. Each one is to be placed in 1 of he 32 London Boroughs to encourage members of the public to dispose of any weapons they have in a bid to remove them off the streets.
