Dea and the family visited on Joshua’s birthday last week as she wanted to show the children the knife angel. It’s message of peace and hope she hoped could comfort the children on such an emotional day.
It was really powerful to have the family here, knowing their story it was an emotional visit.
The family also visited Rebecca Sarah one of our Artists in residence and created ‘memory boxes’ to remember Joshua by.
We wanted to thank the family for visiting and hope that it brought some comfort and happiness being here.

Knives and weapons collected will be included on the national Monument against violence and Aggression and hopefully will bring us a step closer to reaching our goal, of removing 100,000 knives off the streets of the UK.

Dorset have joined to support our plight, to remove 100,000 weapons off the streets of the UK. The force are wanting a number of our internal knife bins to be placed at headquarters around the county.

It’s fantastic to gain support from the force and this proactive approach in raising awareness and the collection of knives and weapons in Dorset county is a positive step forward in reducing knife crime and violence.

We recently collected knives and weapons from the force as they were wanting to support us in reaching our main objectives..To gain the support from ALL police forces across the country and to remove 100,0000 knives off the streets of the uk.

Devon and Cornwall have carried out varies knife and weapon amnesties and are wanting to contribute to our campaign, to remove 100,000 knives off the streets of the UK and to raise awareness on the effects of knife crime and violence.

To have Devon and Cornwall now on board means we are that bit closer in reaching every corner of the country and becoming completely national.

Alfie Bradley went to collect the collected weapons recently and met with Jane Orme, Alan Clark and Mike Clarke of Cheshire police.

The campaign is forever growing stronger and we are edging that bit closer to completion thanks to the help of forces such as Cheshire.

Danny O Brien, who is passionate, energetic and full of enthusiasm in creating awareness and developing education on the issue of knife crime has worked alongside us in gaining the support from the forces.

Raising Aspirations have been a constant supporter since the beginning. Michelle Mchale has been on the front line campaigning to get support and reaching out to all of the police forces across the country.

The organisations mission is to work with young people on an outreach basis. To enable young people to address issues which they feel have a negative impact on their lives and their community.
Michelle has worked tirelessly and is completely dedicated to making a difference. We can’t thank her enough for her support and advice.
